For more than 20 years, Out & Equal’s Recognition Programs have recognized the boldest champions of LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion, celebrating those working to advance belonging for all. Over the years, more than 100 individuals, organizational practices, and ERGs across a range of categories have been honored as role models for outstanding inclusive leadership efforts in their organizations and beyond.  

Formerly known as The Outie Awards, The Momentum Awards are presented at the annual Out & Equal Workplace Summit, showcasing award-winners as LGBTQ+ inclusion champions and providing employer-of-choice visibility for winning organizations. 

Nomination Requirements 

Please note: Momentum Awards nominations are an exclusive benefit of Out & Equal Partnership, recognizing the organizations and leaders setting the standard for workplace belonging.

To submit a nomination, please ensure that you: 

• Include a PDF statement of support from your ERG’s Executive Sponsor or a member of your organization’s Executive Leadership Team.
• Confirm that your nominee will be available to accept the award in person at the Workplace Summit (October 12-15, 2026, in Seattle, WA) should they win the award.
• Complete the nomination form in its entirety and submit no later than July 6, 2026.

Finalist and Winner Notifications 

The Review Committee is comprised of key internal and external review partners to ensure an unbiased review process. 

Finalists and winners will be notified by the Out & Equal team by September, 2026.
